In a recent interview, screenwriter Sumit Arora spoke about his incredible collaboration experience with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on the set of the highly anticipated film ‘Jawan‘. Arora, who has penned the dialogues for the action-packed movie, expressed his admiration for the actor’s deep involvement in the filmmaking process and how it left a lasting impact on him.
Arora revealed that Shah Rukh Khan’s level of commitment and dedication to his craft was truly inspiring. The screenwriter admitted to feeling a sense of shame regarding his own fitness level while witnessing the 57-year-old superstar’s agility. Arora jokingly stated that Shah Rukh moved like a tiger and that it made him want to start working out immediately.

Sumit Arora, while working on the script, remembered the lines of Wasim Barelvi that he had heard as a teenager and felt they would fit perfectly within a scene in ‘Jawan’. Impressed by the couplet, Arora suggested it to Shah Rukh Khan, who also shared his appreciation for the powerful words. So much so, that Shah Rukh personally reached out to the poet, requesting permission to use it in the film.
