The coming weekend is set to be crucial for #Jailer as it continues to dominate amidst the onam releases at the Kerala box office. In just 20 days, the film has grossed 53.8 crores in Kerala, with a share of more than 20 crores. It even achieved another 1 crore plus collection on the Onam day.
But the success doesn’t end there. #Jailer has also made history in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries by becoming the highest grossing South Indian film of all time. Its 20-day gross in Karnataka stands at a staggering 34 crores, with rights valued at 10 crores. This puts the film’s recovery percentage at a whopping 340%, making it the biggest profitable venture among non-Kannada films.
Not only that, but #Jailer has also achieved other significant milestones. It is the first Tamil movie to gross 200 crores from AP/TG (Andhra Pradesh/Telangana), Karnataka, and Kerala.
