Thalapathy Vijay‘s highly anticipated film, Leo, is set to face some tough competition at the box office. Despite the excitement surrounding the release of Leo, other filmmakers are not shying away from releasing their movies on the same day as the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial.
Clashing with Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo will be Nandamuri Balakrishna, Ravi Teja, Shivarajkumar, and Amitabh Bachchan. These films also boast huge star power, adding further competition to the mix. However, this October season is shaping up to be an exhilarating one for film enthusiasts.
Leo is scheduled to release on October 19, and on the same day, several other big releases are set to hit the box office. Let’s take a closer look at the movies that will clash with the Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed film.
First up is Bhagavanth Kesari, featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna. Balakrishna is no stranger to box office clashes, having faced off against numerous stars throughout his career. This clash with Thalapathy Vijay is just another addition to his repertoire.
Next is Tiger Nageswara Rao, starring Ravi Teja. While it won’t release on October 19, the film is expected to hit theaters on October 20. Tiger Nageswara Rao, also featuring Nupur Sanon, Anupam Kher, and Gayathri Bharadwaj, promises a dark and intense storyline set in the 1970s, revolving around the life of a notorious thief.
Shivarajkumar, who gained popularity with Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer, is now set to entice a larger audience with his upcoming film, Ghost. Directed by M G Srinivas, Ghost is not a horror film as the title might suggest. Instead, it promises to be a full-on action entertainer, similar to Leo and the other films it will clash with.
Lastly, Ganapath Part 1, starring Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, will release a day after Leo. The film, which also features Amitabh Bachchan, will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada versions. Directed by Vikas Bahl, Ganapath has generated much anticipation among fans.
