Kollywood actor Ashok Selvan and actor Keerthi Pandian have officially tied the knot. The couple, who held a traditional wedding ceremony in Tamil Nadu, exchanged vows in the presence of their close family and friends. The wedding took place at the Sethu Ammal Farm in Tirunelveli.
News of the couple’s wedding first made headlines in August when the wedding invitation of Ashok and Keerthi surfaced. The couple has been working together on their upcoming Tamil film Blue Star, which is being produced by Pa Ranjith. The film is expected to be released after their wedding.
Apart from Blue Star, Ashok Selvan is also set to star in director CS Karthikeyan’s Saba Nayagan, alongside actors Megha Akash and Mayilsamy.
Following their wedding, Ashok and Keerthi will be hosting a reception in Chennai on September 17 for their industry friends. The reception is expected to be a star-studded affair, with many Kollywood celebrities in attendance.
Bigg Boss fame actor Ramya Pandian, who is Keerthi’s cousin, was among the few from the industry who attended the intimate wedding ceremony. She took to social media to congratulate the newlyweds, expressing her happiness for them.
Fans and well-wishers of the couple are eagerly waiting for their first screen release as a married couple, and it seems like Blue Star will claim that title.
